Living in today’s millennium is quiet more convenient than living fifty years ago. We now live in a world which gadgets help us do our work easier, faster, and accessible. Technology varies in different forms such as computer which is a technological breakthrough that has a remarkable impact on modern living. It is used everywhere likewise in schools which said to be a tool for instruction. One of the most interesting developments in computer technology is the internet, used not only to send electronic-mail (e-mail), but also to navigate various internet sites for educational purposes. It is also an effective way to communicate and for conducting research study.
When I encounter the use of computer in High School, there’s a feeling of amazement in my part as a learner. The first question comes in my mind is that how it will be used and be operated? The remarkable experience I had is that I learn how to surf, search, and browse in the internet and visit different websites. For me, knowing things related to computer technology gives me a lot to explore, study, and experiment various applications that can be useful in our part as a teacher in the twenty first century. The experiences I have in using computer greatly contribute on how I deal with my future students in terms of integrating technology as a tool for instruction (teaching-learning process). And also on my part as an educational technology student, I would rather say that it’s very easy to cope with the subject if you are already oriented with it.
